Las Utopías de Iztapalapa tienen características comunes, pero también instalaciones que las hacenúnicas.
La UTOPÍA Libertad se caracteriza por ser un proyecto alternativo, medioambiental, donde parte de su construcción se llevará a cabo utilizando materiales naturales, ecológicos y reciclados como el pet, bambú y adobe, producido en la Alcaldía de Iztapalapa.
Con esta Utopía se transformará el entorno de miles de habitantes de las colonias aledañas al Reclusorio Oriente, de cuya área de amortiguamiento – predio que rodea al centro de readaptación social y lo separa de la zona habitacional – se han asignado 30 mil metros cuadrados para crear este complejo multidisciplinario, que ofrecerá alternativas deportivas, ecológicas, culturales y recreativas a los pobladores de una zona que hoy un cuenta con espacios públicos
para la sana convivencia.

The Utopías of Iztapalapa share common characteristics but also have unique features.
UTOPÍA Libertad is characterized as an alternative and environmentally friendly project, where part of its construction will be carried out using natural, ecological, and recycled materials such as PET, bamboo, and adobe produced in the Iztapalapa municipality.
With this Utopía, the environment of thousands of residents in the surrounding neighborhoods of the Reclusorio Oriente will be transformed. For this purpose, a buffer area of 30,000 square meters surrounding the correctional facility has been allocated to create this multidisciplinary complex. The complex will offer sporting, ecological, cultural, and recreational alternatives to the inhabitants of an area that currently lacks public spaces for healthy social interaction.
