World Bamboo Workshop India

In 2019, Bamboo Architecture Company constructed a pavilion at the World Bamboo Workshop in Manipur, India. This space was designed to evoke the human spirit's connection to nature, the cosmos, day and night, wind, sun and moon, and fire. The intention was to re-establish our recognition of all living matter in the universe. By creating an organic, multidisciplinary architectural structure, the subconscious is compelled to return to the matrix of love, a motherly love of Nature.

The completed structure stands as a beautiful masterpiece that reminds our spirit of its connection with Nature, reinforces our understanding that we are part of a greater whole, and teaches us humility, recognition, and self-awareness.
